On November 9, 2016, twenty-six foreign students from sixteen countries of 2016 Project Management Master Program co-conducted by Yunnan International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges and Yunnan University of Finance & Economics visited China Southern Power Grid Yunnan International Co., Ltd. (herein after referred to as YNIC). The program is one of the educational assistance of Ministry of Commerce, PRC conducted for foreign countries.
A welcome meeting was held for the delegation. In the meeting, YNIC briefed the company profile and the latest progress of YNIC's on-going projects. The head of the delegation introduced the significance and features of the educational assistance as well as the background of the students. Students from Tanzania suggested YNIC to consider cooperation with African countries, students from Laos exchanged ideas and knowledge of the Lao government's preferential policies towards foreign enterprises, and students from Algeria advised YNIC to pre-consider issues on salary mechanism as well as system of rewards and penalties that should arise in HR management if YNIC would employ foreign staffs in future overseas projects. In the meeting, ideas on project management, legal risks in overseas investment and contracting, cross-cultural communication, environment protection, marketing exploring, and preferential policies of targeted countries were thoroughly exchanged under a pleasant atmosphere.
In future, YNIC will find cooperative opportunities with Yunnan International Center for Economic and Technical Exchanges, will strengthen the relationship with foreign authorities, enterprises and institutions, and will speed up her steps into foreign markets.
